Chances are you’ve seen the photos and video clips (Instagram for the win!) from Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW) by now. Our task, then, is simply to wade through the glorious footage, identify the recurring trends, and present them to you as a handy guide through the highlights of S/S’14.

Shades of orange, pink, yellow, blue and red offered a mini rainbow of options. For a burst of citrus, go with Nkwo's masterful use of tie-dye, for pink, Obsidian's billowy blouse should do the trick; for yellow, House of Marie’s lace dress with a side of feathers is absolute perfection; for blue, Wana Sambo’s navy layered skirt should be on everyone's wedding/evening wish list; and for red, Ladun Lambo’s aso-oke dress is every shade of gorgeous.
