Film Africa is the Royal African Society’s annual festival celebrating the best African cinema from across the continent. Launched in 2011, Film Africa is now the UK’s largest festival of African film and culture.

The event features a line-up of over 60 of the best contemporary African films, with screenings across six major venues across London. There are FREE special events including director Q&As, panel discussions, family activities and young people' workshops and Film Africa LIVE! featuring live music and performance.

We're so excited about this event - especially Saturdays programme, as there will be a screening of Usofia in London Parts 1 AND 2! We're also eager to see Mother of George (no, it's not about Kate Middleton!), which looks absolutely amazing.

So if you're in London, be sure to head down to one of the many remaining screenings. The last day is on Sunday the 10th November and tickets sell out fast. Further information and details on how to book tickets are available on the official Film Africa website.

Will you be heading down? Anything in particular you'd like to see?
