Nike Akinola launched her signature label in 2004 and has been designing and creating unique garments for the last five years. Her work is the subtle but exquisite fusion of Western elegance coupled with flamboyant and elaborate African fabrics.

After graduating in 2003 with a Fashion Degree from Southamptons SolentUniversity, Nike embarked on a passionate mission to create stylish and well designed clothes incorporating traditional fabrics into womens ready-to-wear pieces. Inspired by lush green vegetations, exotic flowers, tranquil white beaches and the beautiful golden sunsets of her native home, she not only embraces her ancestry but reflects current trends in an ever evolving continent. Her designs capture past eras right through to the modern woman. 

A strong eye for detail gained from experience working with designers such as Alice Temperley, and the craftsmanship of skilled embroiderers, seamstresses and pattern cutters, ensures that all Nike Akinola garments have the perfection of cut that flatters the female forms.
